Job Description:

Floship is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Middle East - Business Development to lead our expansion efforts in the region. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and leadership skills, along with a strong commercial background in the eCommerce and logistics industry. This role will be based in the Middle East, with a preference for candidates in Dubai or Jeddah.

Responsibilities:

The Head of Middle East will play a pivotal role in Floship’s growth and success in the region. The key responsibilities include:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients for Floship in the Middle East market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key players in the eCommerce and logistics industry, including retailers, manufacturers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand Floship’s presence in the Middle East, ensuring the company’s services are tailored to meet regional market demands.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team, particularly with the Director of Operations, to address and resolve operational challenges and conflicts as they arise.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the Middle East team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
• Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform Floship’s strategic decision-making.
• Generate regular reports and updates on business development activities, market performance, and operational issues for senior management.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in the eCommerce and logistics industry, with a proven track record of success.
• Based in the Middle East, preferably in Dubai or Jeddah.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present ideas and negotiate effectively.
• Strong commercial background with a deep understanding of the eCommerce and logistics industry, including fulfillment, warehousing, and courier services.
• Proficiency in handling eCommerce fulfillment, warehouse management, and courier logistics, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and leading teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
